8 year-old Mai Li Fay, from Bangkok, is far from living the usual life of a girl her age. Everyday, thousands of people gather to the front of her family’s house to get a chance of seeing and possibly touching the young girl, a gesture which both buddhists and hindu pilgrims seem to perceive as a garantee of good fortune.

According to the country’s top medical expert, Dr Ping Lao, the young girl suffers a very rare syndrome known as the Serpentosis Malianorcis or Jing Jing’s disease, which gives her lower body a distinct reptilian form and aspect. Only a handful of such cases have been recorded throughout history, so the scientific knowledge accumulated about the pathology is rather limited and there is no cure in sight at the moment.

The Fay family have welcomed the situation brought by Mai Li’s situation with a mix of anguish and excitement, as the never ending lines of tourists and pilgrims have brought the badly impoverished family some substantial revenues and given them an important raise in their social status but cost them there privacy and intimacy.

Babs Moola:
Babs Moola is the boss of one of the biggest clubs in UNILAG. He runs Hitchers Entertainment, an upscale
entertainment outfit in school. He is the boss of bosses, a cool dude, with swag and influence. He rolls with the biggest dudes and babes on campus.

Laolu:
This is another big boy on campus. He is the club chief, ON Entertainment. This is the crew responsible for some of the biggest and craziest parties in school.

Henry Chylln:
Henry is a top dude in school. No club party is complete without the presence of this young dude. He was nominated in the last TUSH Awards for the award of Top Club Boy.

Jide Purple Haze: 

Another top brass in the University of Lagos. This is one dude who runs the big things in big ways. His ride is one of the most envied on campus.

Deji Dejovo: 

Popularly known as Mr. Flash, is a big boy in his own right. Girls flock around him like b*tterflies around honey. He dresses well, rides one of the flyest cars on campus, and is regarded as one of the hottest dudes in school.

Prime Minister: 

Prime Minister, as he is popularly called is indeed a big boy in the University of Lagos. He is one of those influential few on campus who dictate style and taste.

Tobi Bakare:
A student of the department of Accounting, Tobi Bakare is a don by himself. He is very popular, and well loved by all.
Adeori McFape:
Another student who has, overtime, grown to become one of the big wigs on campus. He reps the department of Quantity Surveying. He is the boss of one of the biggest clubs in the school. He runs Fuse Entertainment.

Monalisa Omorodion: 

This is one strong name in the Unilag social community. She is a student of the department of Economics, a nominee for the award of the most popular female in a Nigerian university. She has a powerful clique of friends that rule the school.

Nneoma Okpara: 

She is one of the richest and biggest students in the Law Faculty. She stands out as a doyenne and style dictator in the University of Lagos.

Olivia Messango:

Susan Efeji:
Very few would know her, as she stays outside the school environment most of the time. She is a very busty lady with every sexy endowment that can make a warm blooded man empty his pockets in a hurry. She drives an exotic Range Rover, which was bought for her by one of her sugar daddies. Her clients are not young boys, but are the top men who walk the corridors of power.

Omoti Neni:
A student of the Law faculty, she is a high-flyer in school. A trend setter and a fashionista. Her status as a big babe on campus is not to be argued.

Ify freckles Obi:

This babe from the department of English is one to reckon with. She is like the freshest babe on campus. She is a style diva, and as such a goddess for so many on campus. She was nominated for the award of the most beautiful Nigerian female student in the 2012 TUSH Awards.

Claimed Naomi left was obsessed with fellow acid attack victim Katy Piper

The case of Naomi Oni who was left disfigured during an acid attack by her friend Mary Konye is taking a different turn.The defense is claiming she did it deliberately because she needed plastic surgery.They claim she was obsessed with with plastic surgery or the story of fellow acid attack victim Katy Piper who was disfigured by an ex and went on to become famous.

They searched her laptop history and saw all sites she had browsed before the attack and most of it had to do with plastic surgery .Mary Konye accused of the attack claims Naomi begged her to pour the acid.....

Here is how Mary Konye's lawyer argued below as published by Daily mail

Miss Oni vehemently denied the claims made by Konye's QC, on the third day of a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

The prosecution claim Konye donned a full niqab before following Oni as she made her way home from Westfield Stratford City in east London where she worked.The victim was left disfigured for life after Konye allegedly doused her with sulphuric acid near her home in Dagenham, Essex.

But the defence it was part of an elaborate plan to become rich and famous.

Today Miss Oni insisted she was not 'obsessed' with plastic surgery or the story of fellow acid attack victim Katy Piper, despite an internet search history on her laptop suggesting otherwise.In cross examination Sally O'Neill asked her to explain to jurors the story of Ms Piper before asking whether she had become obsessed by the disfigured model.

Miss Oni said:

 'I wouldn't say obsessed but it deeply moved me. I read about other attacks but it was not an obsession.'

Ms O'Neill said it was the defence case that she hatched a plan with Konye to pour acid over herself to improve her future prospects.

She said:

'You said if something similar to that of Katy Piper happened to you then that wouldn't be the end of the world because Katy Piper probably had a career boost.'

Miss Oni simply replied:

 'No.'

The defence barrister asked her why she had visited a series of plastic surgery websites.

Miss Oni answered:

'I do not think I was very pretty at all.I went on the sites for no reason in particular - I had body issues and I was interested in plastic surgery for my body but there was no particular reason.I remember searching for my eyelids because I had double eyelids which I didn't like so I planned one day to see if I could do something about it.

 But Ms O'Neill said:

'You formalised a plan in which you would become the victim of a random acid attack in the hope that you would receive the same type of fame and fortune as Katy Piper had.

You were of the view that Katy Piper still looked lovely after the attack but that you would need something else to support the attack because the police wouldn't believe you and that was where you brought Mary Konye into it.Your play was, I suggest, that you would make an allegation that you had been followed and attacked and you wanted Mary Konye to be part of that - you wanted her to follow you and also, initially, wanted her to throw the acid.She absolutely refused to do that and you said that you were actually going to throw the acid yourself towards your neck area.'

Miss Oni replied:

'That is very untrue.

Miss Oni admitted deleting her internet search history on her mobile phone a day before police were due to come and collect it.

She said she felt 'violated' and didn't want the police going through her personal data so she decided to delete the history on her iPhoneMs O'Neill suggested going to the media was the way Miss Oni had decided to launch herself into the celebrity sphere.

She said: 'It is right that your family decided to take matters into their own hands and go to the media?'

Ms Oni replied:

 'We went to the press because I was homeless at the time/

Ms O'Neill then said:

 'You thought celebrity would come of it, didn't you? Were you offered the services of a celebrity plastic surgeon from America?'

Ms Oni replied:

 'So I was told. I do not think being disfigured and being famous is something I aim for in life at all.'

Ms Oni also admitted being paid £2,000 by The Sun newspaper for an interview as well as appearing on ITVs This Morning programme and being paid a sum of £1,000.

She also appeared on a German television programme and paid around £1200 as well as being approached by the BBC for her story.

Mary Konye, 21, admits disguising herself in a niqab and stalking Naomi Oni, also 21, on her way home from work, but denies she doused her in sulphuric acid.
