See What Marijuana Has Done To Snoop Dog abi Snoop Lion

He may be Down Under to perform at the annual Big Day Out music festival, but Snoop Lion, otherwise known as Snoop Dogg, is making headlines for a very different reason.
The 42-year-old rapper and illustrious marijuana user has posted a series of photos of himself next to what appears to be a large bowl of cannabis, which is considered an illegal substance in Australia.
The controversial photo was taken in the rapper's luxury suite in the Queensland Gold Coast's famous Palazzo Versace earlier this week.

The rapper himself is sitting in the background, his matted dreads sporting streaks of grey as he tilts his head and looks provocatively to camera.

Charles Novia writes on Genevieve’s Etisalat endorsement & the dangerit portends

So yesterday, Genevieve became the latest Etisalat ambassador in a contract said to worth N100m. In this latest article, Charles Novia talks about the politics of celebrity endorsements citing Genevieve’s latest endorsement as his focal point.

A couple of days ago, there was an excited buzz on social media in Nigeria that Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has been signed on as one of the new Brand Ambassadors of Etisalat, a telecommunications company operating in Nigeria and sundry parts of the globe. Amid the congratulatory messages from her fans sent to her on some sites, a few cynical remarks caught my attention. (By the way, congrats Ms Nnaji!)

One commentator simply known as ‘Da Trut’ wrote in one of the comments section in a blog which I reproduce here;
‘Congrats, Genevieve. But wait o…your Boyfriend, D’Banj is a Glo Ambassador and now you are an Etisalat Ambassador. It has been reported that two of you will marry this year after being live-in-lovers and dating steadily for a while now. Since both of you have not denied this piece of news, I assume that it is true. With this new deal of yours, does it mean you cannot attend any show sponsored by Globacom in which D’Banj is a headliner despite him being your BF and you being expected to support your beau? And same goes for him too in any of your Etisalat sponsored shows? Won’t your relationship be strained by this?’

However nosy this comment may seem to some people, there is an underlying fact which many celebrities and of course the general public have overlooked when it comes to signing brand endorsements. Most of these contracts, if not all, are watertight for the artiste. The dos and don’ts imposed on the artistes could be argued in a civil rights court of law! But then, most artistes are quick to sign off the dotted lines basically because of the lump sum being paid to them by the competing brands. Which is all well and good too, depending on how you look at it.
And don’t get me wrong. I wholly commend all the brands cashing in on the perceived goodwill and traction many of these celebs have and investing in their art and to a large extent, the entertainment industry. These brands have uplifted the creative industries through such investments and the industry is the better for it. Really, it is.
However, a glaring reality is coming to the fore and many may laugh it off right now but it is staring at us in the face. In 2013, many of the live events and sponsored concerts were tepid in performance value. Many of the top acts had been signed by one telecom brand or the other and since the headliners in the music industry have divided their brand endorsements among various telcos, many could not perform for friends or business concerns where a competing telco or brand was a major or support sponsor. This was basically because of watertight caveats in the artistes contracts which forbids them from attending such shows. Thus, most of the live concerts in 2014 in Nigeria were either lacking in major star power or just repititive in talents signed on by the brands. And the performance value of such events were basically average. Many of the brands which had campus shows suffered this fate.
In October 2013, the Nollywood Movies Awards held at the posh Intercontinental Hotel, in Lagos. Comedian Basketmouth had been hyped as the compere of the evening, supported by Dakore Akande. I was standing at the red carpet lobby, interacting with invited guests as we had cocktails when one of the organisers, Alfred Soroh, came up to me. He whispered to me that there was a problem and it had to be solved urgently. Apparently, immediately Basketmouth came out of the lift and saw a huge backdrop with Etisalat written on it, he quickly dashed back and refused to compere the show. His reason was that he was a Glo Ambassador and could not be seen on an Etisalat sponsored show. It makes sense. When I asked the organisers if they didn’t think it out before deciding on Basketmouth as the compere, they explained that Etisalat came in just a few days to the event. Segun Arinze, a tested and trusted hand, had to be drafted immediately to co-compere the event.
The example above is one of many others which are a usual occurrence. My gut feeling is this; the business will grow for the brands but the whole performance and event industry may very well suffer for this. For example, if a movie awards event had MTN as the major sponsor and 50% of the nominees are Glo Ambassadors, only an idiot would need explanations on why half the nominees would not be present at the awards even if they eventually won. Same goes for music awards events. This cycle is becoming predictable. And the performance value suffers for it.
But there may be those who would argue that the brands are capable of sponsoring their own events with only their brand ambassadors as headliners. I concur but for every show such brands sponsor, it becomes predictable. I would know that any MTN show would have Wizkid, KCee, Davido, Don Jazzy and other ambassadors as performers just as a Glo event would have MI, Bez, Lynnx, Omawunmi, Burna Boy, D’Banj etc as performers. Truth be told, when you watch them once, you have watched it all. Bring them up again in another sponsored show, even for free and many would reluctantly attend just as many would not. Performance value.
Brand Managers reading this may well snigger at this but I would advise that they meet with their counterparts in other companies suffering this same problem and iron out a few of these issues. Artistes must be free to attend other shows of competing brands as long as they don’t endorse the sponsoring brand nor endorse their own brand in such shows. Harmony is needed. The entertainment industry should not be cannon fodder for the corporate wars. In 2014, we all must enhance the performance value. (By the way, that phrase is my coinage and I think I like it.)
The artistes themselves must step up their game. There is too much emphasis on the cars they buy or the shoes they wear by their publicists, which is not bad by itself but it gets overdone and sometimes come out in bad taste. Artistes should be seen to be adding value to their lives and the society through more of personal social responsiblity programmes rather than personal ‘I don buy am’ publicity stunts. Granted, how they spend their money is entirely their business but the people out there don’t really know how they MAKE their money most times. And it’s not from shows or endorsements only as they are made to believe. Story for another day. What I am saying is; how many of these new generation artistes have impacted positively on the moral conscience and inspirational equity of the youths? Very few. In music, almost none. In Nollywood, just a cosmetic impact. Story again for another day.
But I am not going to knock anyone in this write-up. I commend the dedicated efforts we all have put over the years to build the entertainment industry to this level. But the level is still in a pre-foundation stage. The structures are lacking. As we like to say all the time ‘ but we will get there!’. Where ‘there’ is is as good your guess as mine.
And my opinion is basically, my opinion.

PHOTO: Lagos Big Girl Murdered, Beheaded For Rituals [VIEWERDISCRETIONADVISED]

This is no photoshoot, this is real people!!! Things are happening, please read:
The headless lady pictured above was said to have left home to club and party with some friends a couple of days ago, Mimiubini.com gathered that the lady who is a Lagos runs babe was approached by a rich man at Elegushi beach where she and her friends had stopped by to party and have some fun.
According to report, she was said to have been taken to an unknown hotel by the man after both

parties had reached a conclusive agreement on pricing. Exactly 7am the next day, her dismembered body was found somewhere around Mushin axis, Lagos in what looked like a case of rituals. Her left breast was cut off, right hand was also found missing while her intestine was also taken away.

Residents immediately reported the caser to the police, while many cried and pitied the dead lady who they claim was obviously used for money rituals; many said she must have been enjoying the “runs” business all along until this happened.
We urge every girl/lady to please remain extra careful particularly in this yuletide season.

What I Can Do To Stop My Wife From Wetting Our Bed?

Dear MUB Readers

The situation is so embarrassing that she wears diapers to sleep. She blames it on the 3 kids we have but I do not believe this. True she was not like this when we got married, the first time she wet the bed was the week we found out she was pregnant with our first child. I can not even tell my family because they are not so fond of her and asking them for help will only make them hate her. I have advised her to see the Doctor but she says as long as she is able to wake up two times at night she will be fine. It is affecting our sexual life because I only see her as a bed wetter.

I love her please help me!

Wife of Indian minister found dead, following reports he had an affair

The wife of Indian minister Shashi Tharoor has been found dead, following reports he had an affair, Indian media say. Sunanda Pushkar is reported to have been found dead in a five-star hotel in Delhi, according to police sources.

The couple became embroiled in controversy over a series of Twitter messages on Wednesday Jan. 15th that appeared to reveal he was having an affair with Pakistani journalist, Mehr Tahrar. They later insisted they were happily married, blaming "unauthorised tweets". Ms Pushkar admitted publishing the tweets, but later denied it.

Reports said that her husband had informed the police of her death. It was unclear how she died. Mr Tharoor married Ms Pushkar, a former Dubai-based businesswoman, in 2010.

Ms Tahrar, who denied having an affair with the minister, tweeted after she heard of Ms Pushkar's death: "I'm absolutely shocked.

"This is too awful for words. So tragic I don't know what to say. Rest in peace, Sunanda."
Mr Tharoor, a former UN diplomat, was forced to resign from his first ministerial position in 2010 amid controversy over his involvement in bidding for a cricket team.

Ms Pushkar had allegedly received a free stake in the Indian Premier League franchise he was bidding for.

Open letter to Basket Mouth by Citizen Evelyn

Dear Bright Okpocha (aka Basket Mouth),
I am a very good fan of your comedy show including my husband and kids, I would rather have spoken to you over the phone or make time to see you face to face, but as it is the season of open letter in Nigeria, I would like to use this medium to express how disappointed I am over your comment or joke as you may call it on “Rape”.
First let me try to educate you about the meaning of Rape, maybe you did not check your dictionary for the meaning or you don’t have one at home.

Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse, which is initiated by one or more persons against another without any consent. The act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority or against a person who is incapable of valid consent, such as one who is unconscious, incapacitated, or below the legal age of consent. The term rape is sometimes used interchangeably with the term sexual assault.
Rape and sexual slavery are recognized as crimes against humanity and war crimes. Rape is also recognized as an element of the crime of genocide when committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a targeted ethnic group.
People who have been raped can be severely traumatized and may suffer from post traumatic stress

disorder; in addition to psychological harm resulting from the act, rape may cause physical injury, or have additional effects on the victim, such as acquiring of a sexually transmitted infection or becoming pregnant. Furthermore, following a rape, a victim may face violence or threats thereof from the rapist, and, in some cultures, from the victim’s own family and relatives. More about rape and its effect of victims can be obtained for free from the Encyclopaedia.
Bright, let me ask you, have any of your relation been raped before? Have your blood sister or daughter been raped before? If the answer is yes, then how can you possibly make a joke about it. but if the answer is no, then you must be ashamed of yourself ….

Your lack of respect for women has manifested. When you first began to make jokes about Nigerian women we thought that it was to make people laugh, now you can be easily accused of making these jokes because you want to disrespect, humiliate and insult Nigerian women. Why should Nigerian women be painted black by a fellow Nigerian who they pay money to watch his show? These women who come to your shows are the people putting food on your table, the clothes you wear, pay your bills, fuel your car and you have the innuendo to rubbish them?

As a brand ambassador of some companies in Nigeria, you are supposed to be a role model for our children, but what are you teaching them, are you teaching them that rape is fun? you are telling them that any girl they want to have sex with and who says no should be raped? To the girls you are simply calling them sex toys that can be bought with money. By your joke you have reduced Nigerian women to zero. How will men from other countries see our women?
Finally, I will advise you to always think about the consequence of what you open your mouth to joke about because that mouth that brought you fame and good things of life may still play a part in bringing you down.

"I don't sell fake designer bags" CEO of Posh Rawyalty Boutique CriesOut

She may not be an actress or a singer but trust me this babe is a celebrity in her boutique business, she has create a niche for herself in the clothing business by staying true to herself and giving her clients the very best, however last year, in a gossip blog called Secrets and Scandal, so many negative things was written about her, well the blog self has been shut down and Nosa (her real name) is still soaring higher.

Must Read: The Story Of A Unilag Big Babe

My name is Monica and this is my story.

It all started on a Sunday evening, I felt so big because I cannot lower my standards to start talking to some dead girls. I mean I’m a big girl, I should be found with bigger girls and bigger boys. Anyways that’s aside. My roommates were not around so I decided to start tweeting. I didn’t really have anything to tweet, I went through peoples tweet so i started stealing people’s tweets. Most of my followers were retweetting it because it was really making sense. My roommates got back but I ignored them because I was really having fun on twitter.

Around 1:00 am I got a DM from a guy, I almost ignored it but I checked it. It was just ‘hi’ from a guy. I checked his avi, OMG this guy is so handsome and on point plus he has over 5000 followers. Definitely, he must be a big boy and he should have cash, this attracted me to him and we started chatting; in my mind I have found new maga. He introduced himself and told me he is loving my tweets because they really inspire him. I told him they were all my thoughts.

He must have believed me because the next thing I knew he started telling me his life story. He told me how his girl friend broke his heart and all, he said he loved the girl so much and gave her everything she wanted; he gave her an I phone 4 and also got her a diamond ring he proposed to her with. All this got me thinking of when I would be getting my own diamond ring. Since he got her an Iphone 4 I might get the new Z10! Finally, someone to change my blackberry bold1. He also mentioned giving her the key to his house in Lekki when he was travelling to America to see his parents.

My eyes were wide opened that was how I knew that YES this guy is perfectly boxed up. I wasn’t going to let him think I was the broke one, so I started forming for him too. I lied to him about how rich my parents were . I started consoling him and telling him that not all girls are the same. Not because I pity him but common this guy is young and rich and this kind of fresh fish cannot slip away from my hand NO! When he called me, I spoke with a black American accent I learned from watching TV.

Soon we started planning our first meeting. He asked me for how much I needed. I replied. No thanks, I don’t need your money. He sensed I
was being modest and he asked me if 100 thousand naira will be adding that he would give it to me when I come over. I had to look good to impress this guy, my broke Bottom had only two thousand naira. I went ahead to buy a Brazilian weave on credit. I also borrowed thirty five thousand naira from a friend. I made a good meal. I got new clothes and other stuffs. Nneka had warned me not to come back to school if I didn’t get her money.

We met. While he drove me to the undisclosed place, I talked and laughed at his dry jokes. We got to lekki he stopped by one of the houses, he said he wanted to get something from his friend. Immediately he left, his phone rang but I didn’t pick up, the fourth time the person called I picked up and the person said “I get your message say you don pick the girl, abeg wait for me before you start to dey knack am because I wan knack am too. We go do a before you ask for her ATM card and pin oo. Since you talk say na rich girl, he mean say she go get correct money. No Bleep up oo before she go no say you be broke guy, continue to dey form fonee u hear, helooo, hello, hello”.

I took my things, entered the next cab I saw………. Haaaaa BAD MARKET. Wat will I tell Nneka!!!

Pics show Rabboni church members throwing up after eating grass

Members of the Rabboni Centre Ministries in Pretoria, South Africa, under instruction from their pastor, Lesego Daniel, dropped to the floor to eat grass after the 'man of God' told them it will 'bring them closer to God.' (If you missed the first post, see it here)

The church members defended their pastor who has been widely criticized for this practice and said eating grass has not only brought them closer to God but also heals them of illnesses.

'Yes, we eat grass and we're proud of it because it demonstrates that, with God's power, we can do anything,' Rosemary Phetha told South Africa's Times Live.
The 21-year-old law student says she had been battling a sore throat for more than a year, but it was healed after she ate the grass. Doreen Kgatle, 27, of Ga-rankuwa, suffered a stroke two years ago.
'I could not walk but soon after eating the grass, as the pastor had ordered, I started gaining strength and an hour later I could walk again,' said Kgatle.
Oh yeah? These brain washed individuals. Lol. Photos posted on the church's Facebook page shows dozens of the members throwing up after indulging in the activity mostly reserved for goats. Lol. Too funny! See more photos after the cut...

Men and women throwing up after eating grass. Dear members of Rabboni Centre Ministries, your pastor isjust a man and he doesn't know it all.

A 30-year-old man, simply identified as Adeji is now cooling his heels in a cell at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Oyo State Police Command, Iyaganku for allegedly raping his neighbour’s pregnant wife

black man handcuffs 500x375 Man Arrested For Raping Neighbour’s Pregnant Wife
Mary (other names withheld), a 23-year-old mother of two kids who is carrying a three-month old pregnancy was a victim of the suspect’s untamed libido. Adeji waylaid the pregnant woman when she was returning from the stream in Sanusi village, Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, where they are both neighbours.
It was gathered that Mary attempted to escape but was overpowered and raped by Adeji, despite her pleas that she was pregnant. After the illicit act, Adeji attempted to bribe her not to spill the beans, offering N500.
He then fled the scene, leaving behind his pair of slippers. Prior to the incident, Sunday Sun learnt that the suspect had been luring and making advances to Mary.
Mary’s husband had earlier lodged a complaint with the village head who issued Adeji a serious warning to desist from the damnable act, but he was not deterred.
After the incident, the victim was rushed to Adeoyo Hospital for medical examination after which a report was made at the Idi-Ayunre Police Division. Policemen later visited the crime scene and eventually apprehended the suspect.
Adeji, however, told Sunday Sun that the housewife was his girlfriend and that they had been in a relationship before the incident.
A top police source who confirmed the incident told Sunday Sun that the suspect would be charged to court once investigations were concluded. He added that the police would not relent in its drive to rid Oyo State of rapists terrorizing women in the state.

Dear men; what is the difference btw loving your woman and being in love with your woman?

I read the comment below from a guy commenting on the Gabrielle Union/Dwyane Wade love saga, trying to explain why most men are unfaithful. (Dwyane had a baby with another lady while dating Gabby) Dear men, please read another guy's view below and tell us if he's close to the truth..
There are more women than there are men, and whether you know it or not, "your" man probably has another woman...or two. Stop being naive to these facts. A man has to both love and be in love with a woman in order to be faithful. Majority of you have men that only love you and that's makes all of the difference.
Most men are not in love with their women. I am using men as the end all, be all because society is patriarchal and it is fitting and very true for my assessment.
Do you ever, ever hear men saying "I can't wait to get a ring!" or "I can't wait to get husbanded up!"? No. Most marriages are initiated by women as are most divorces. Society has convinced most women that the pinnacle of their existence revolves around marriage to a man and bearing his children.
Because of society brainwashing most women this way, men can generally get away with whatever they want to because they are the prize in the relationship, not the woman. What a lot of women do not understand is that they are nothing more than live-in maids, cooks, and sex partners. Of course a man can love a woman who cooks, cleans, and fucks him. But the magic is with the man BEING IN LOVE with the woman. Love and being in love are two different blurred lines and people like to gloss of this fact in order to save face and their feelings.

I think that infidelity is rampant because most men are not in love with their women. I could also argue that forcing most people in monogamous relationships also creates infidelity, but I do not feel like explaining all of that right now. Anyway, yes, the "being in love" part of relationships do not last long at all. Do you ever hear people say "The spice is gone"? or "I'm bored in our relationship"? Yeah, that's where these sayings come from.

"I've never done plastic surgery" - Uche Jombo

For those of you who say actress Uche Jombo Rodriguez has had a nose job, she says it's the most ridiculous thing ever!

She tells Punch
I have never gone under the knife. I hear people say I have done plastic surgery on my nose. I cannot imagine a desire to fix my nose of all the things I would to my body. It sounds very ridiculous.

Dear LIB readers: Should I send nude pics to my husband?

From a LIB reader
We dated for three years before getting married last year. While we were dating he would always ask me to send him nude photos especially when he's out of town. The nudest I've sent to him, after months of persuasion, was a picture of my breast but I cropped my face out because I was not so comfortable sending them. Phones can be stolen. But now that we are married he keeps insisting that he's my husband and there's nothing wrong in me sending nude photos. I have my reservations about these things but I also want to make my hubby happy. Should I send him nude photos of myself? Is it OK for married couples to do this? I need your advice please.

God Told Me To Contest In 2015 Elections - Rev. Chris Okotie Reveals, Even After Loosing Twice In The Past

Rev. Chris Okotie, has declared his intention to contest the 2015 presidential election even after he had failed twice. Okotie disclosed his intentions saying, "I will run in 2015, God willing. God spoke to me about my participation in the political process, which was why I took the step in the first place. He has not said anything contrary."
However, when asked, pastor refused to speak about the strategy saying,
"I don’t want to talk about our strategy for now, we have learnt from our past experience, we don’t want to talk about it for now."

It would be recalled that Okotie first contested for President in 2003 under the Justice Party. He lost to former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
In 2007 he gave it another try, and was defeated by the late President, Umaru Yar’Adua, also of the PDP.
He claimed in all these while that God specifically told him to contest.

Say NO To Jungle Justice: 2 Gay Men Beaten to Death In Nigeria [GraphicVideo] - 16+ Only

The video you are about to watch below is very disheartening. These men were brutally beaten to death for being gay.

What is disturbing is the fact that, attending police officers declining to intervene as the two men are mercilessly set about by a mob each taking turns beating the two men with planks of wood. The sight of an ambulance in the background can be seen. At no point during the beating are the men offered assistance or recourse to ambulance workers.

Watch graphic video after the cut:
The reluctance of attending authorities to intervene could be said to be consistent with the Nigeria’s uncompromising position towards same sex relations.

The location of this barbaric act is what, i'm about to find out but I was able to detect country (Nigeria) by the spoken language which is Yoruba.

Now, is there any part of the Nigeria constitution that says’ anyone caught in such act should be brutally beaten to death with lumps of wood? When will Nigerians stop Jungle Justice (JJ)?

DEAR MUB READERS: I AM SLEEPING WITH A MARRIED MAN .......HELP.....

From a Female Reader, pls she needs your opinion....

About Two months ago I started seeing a man I know through work.
He’s married with kids, which isn’t ideal, but we’re not in it for a relationship.
I’m single and looking for a serious relationship but not with a married man, what happen between us was as a result of the alcohol we had.
We have been seeing each other since then and I'm trying to quit but it's difficult.
I confided in my best friend, but she’s turned out to be very judgmental and it’s caused such a problem between us that we’re barely speaking.

She thinks I’m “evil” for sleeping with a married man and has also given me several lectures, warning me that I’ll probably get emotionally attached, fall in love and want him to leave his wife.
I’ve told her many times that I am trying to stop the relationship and how difficult it is for me, but she won’t listen.
I miss her friendship, but I don’t know what I can do to build bridges because I’m not going to end things with this guy just because she wants me to.
I’ve known my friend since we were at school, but I would never dream of telling her how to live her life or give her a hard time over something I didn’t agree with.
Is there anything I can do to get our friendship back on track again and also to forget about this married man?
